This post is for us to be able to speculate what we think is coming in the January OTA update, as well as what we WANT to see. I will keep a log of confirmed, or likely to happen changes in the next update in this topic. So feel free to speculate!

So what do you think/know/hope for in the next update? Here are my predictions/expectations for the update:
-Android 2.1
-Adobe Flash Support
-Option to toggle portrait keyboard to have the bigger keys (without downloading an app for it).
-Fixing slight choppiness that some people have noticed on a select few websites since the 2.0.1 update.

I'd like to see a revamped media player.  It's good but just needs to be a bit easier to use.

Agreed, also would like to see an option to have either the new or original lock screen.

I didn't even think of that. You're right, the gallery needs work, at least the ability to swipe between images!

Exactly Dust. In fact on my Samsung Rogue the gallery was 100X's better: you could even tilt the screen to scroll through your photos! I have been quite disappointed with this gallery.

January 5th. It is the guessed release date of the Nexus One, and Google is having an Android meeting on that Day. I predict the next OTA update to be on or around January 5th.

Well we don't know the exact details. Adobe might be developing it to be included in a firmware update possibly, which makes the January option sound quite possible.
