Corny yeah I know!
For those of you who don't know me my real name is Tim and I am a cel phone junkie ;-)
But seriously get bored of one easily and I have several different phones which I rotate through at any given time. Since getting a cel phone about 3 years ago I have had the following handsets:
Verizon:
* Motorola Razor V3M
* Motorola Razor Max
* LG Voyager (Classic) -- the only phone I have ever used for more than a year
* BlackBerry 8830 World Edition in Red
* BlackBerry 8330 Curve
* BlackBerry 9530 Storm
* LG enV Touch (Current - for now)
* BlackBerry 9630 Tour (current - until Tour2 comes out)
* BlackBerry 9550 Storm2
* Motorola Droid (current -- and newest)
AT&T:
* BlackBerry 9000 Bold
* BlackBerry 8900 Curve
* Apple iPhone 3GS (current -- for now)
Future handsets I am looking at are the Nexus One (when it comes to Verizon this summer) and the Tour2 (expected very soon)
Many of you will remember me from the Voyager-LG (which I was the top poster of at one time), Bold-BlackBerry, Storm-BlackBerry (where I am a global mod), and BlackBerry-Tour (where I am an Admin)
I've been following Android since it first came out on the G1 over a year ago and knew it was gonna be special. If myTouch had been available on Verizon I would have gotten it but it's good that I didn't because the Droid and Nexus One are so much better. I've been following both with grat interest since they came out and finally got a droud relatively cheap on eBay the other day, so here i am :-)
Right now I am just using the droid on a line I had a cheap hone on while I test it out but if the battery life ends up being OK and I can get used to the keyboard I hope that this replaces the enV Touch as my main talking and texting phone. Lots of people ask me why I dont just use my BB for that and the answer is I can't get used to talking on such a wide phone!
Anyway, here I am ready to learn and share info like the rest of you.
Tim
