Thanks for the cookie.  BTW - I have a plastic cover on my Droid so I might have the same Battery problem but the Battery Cover is secure in place under the plastic cover.

I bought the dock and enjoy it at night. 
So it has to come out of the case for the dock.  And that is a PAIN.
The best fix here might be to Dremel out the dock hole to accept the case!
Problem solved.  Might not be the best looking But will keep the case on 24/7 and protect the battery cover too. 

Time to go to my semi and get my dremel out of the tool box.  That will be Sunday.  Not going to make the 50 mile round trip just for a dremel.

Was working to get AppsToSD running on the droid.  Well that is is in the background now. Time to just enjoy Droid for a while..
