...been using the yahoomob app...

For those who never heard of Yahoo Mob (Free) - Android friendly yahoo mail, messenger, address book and all other great features, faster than browser, tab browsing and specialized bookmarks.

Another thing to remember, that I haven't seen mentioned yet, make sure to turn off your wiring before using any of these methods. Whenever I install a new rom, I have to set up my email again. If my wifi is on, it won't work, but as soon as I turn it off, its smooth sailing.

Hmmm . . . something interesting I noticed today. Anyone else getting multiple copies of the same email showing up in their sent folder? I noticed when I send an email from my yahoomail on my Droid, that email shows up 9 or 10 times in my sent folder and many more times (pages worth) in my yahoomail sent folder on my computer! Fortunately, the email recipients have only been getting the one copy of the email, so I guess it's not really a big problem, but wierd nonetheless.

It doesn't look like there is an official Yahoo app, but you can try Hi Yahoo Beta, available for free, in the market.

i got tha droid and sold the nexus one i had and learned a valuable lesson, first get down with the best network, then get the best phone...my problems with the nexus however where all coming from the tmobile network i loved the phone when i had a good connection!!!!!!!!
Yeah, turned in my Dare for the Droid. So far, so good although I do miss the camera on the Dare. I wonder how many other Dare-to-Droid converts there are around here? That's funny, now I do remember seeing your scores on Pacman. Used to play the arcade version alot when i was a kid, but damn that version they have at lg-dare.com com was pretty tough!

*points to self* Dare-to-Droid convert. I like this religion much more. ;p

Ok guys... This is how you set up Yahoo mail

Select Manual Setup
IMAP

Enter Yahoo User name and Password

For server incoming:
imap.mail.yahoo.com
Port 143

For server outgoing:
smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
port 587

Hope this helps
