I have an icon by my notifications of a suitcase with the Droid in it...what does it mean?

Fran9978,

I believe what you are referring to is the icon that tells you that you have an app. update available in the market. However, if you open your notification screen it should tell you what the icon you are seeing is for.

ok im new to this and I opened the market...its still there..but I guess I have to figure it out myself because you have to be here type issue..Thank You

If it is the icon I think it is you can do two of the following; 1)open your notifications and it will show it with "updates available", click on it and it will take you to the market with the available update. 2)Open the market, go to the menu (with the phone menu button), click on "downloads", and at the top of your downloads list should be the app. that has an available update.
