Game Controls for the Droid!

- This is the home of the Game Gripper, the best accessory for the Motorola Droid! It allows you to play all those old-school games (emulators required), with a real game-pad feel. Just check out the video below to see how awesome it is.

The Game Gripper is easy to use, you just slide it on! It is designed to work with any of the game system emulators on the android market (GameBoid, SNesoid, Nesoid etc) but could also work with any other games that let you map out your own buttons.

For now, we only sell the game gripper for the Motorola Droid, but we are already working on designs for other phones. Below are a few sketches of future game grippers.

So I have had the Game Gripper for over a month now and I have to say I am impressed.  The Game Gripper slides on easily and fits snug onto the droid keyboard with little movement while playing.  Each Game Gripper button is mapped on a specific button on the droid keyboard. The keys are    "E" "S" "F" "X" "U" "H" "N" "SPACE" "P" "L" "ENTER" "PERIOD".  When a button on the Game Gripper is pressed, it strikes down on the droid keyboard.  

The difference in game play with the Game Gripper is huge especially when playing games like Super Mario Kart where the dpad is vital.  

I have not seen any wear and tear on the mapped buttons on my keyboard however I do not press the keys hard.  


I give it a 9/10...It's a must have if you enjoy playing emulator games/nes/snes/gen on your Droid.
