If I missed this in here someone let me know and I will link this to the thread where it is already at; there is an email bug on the Droid. Today I started getting repeated Force Closes "The application Email (process com.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly Please try again" with my email application. I new I didn't download any new applications that would have messed up my email, so I finally did a search. Apparently there is some sort of bug with the Droid email application that certain email headers cause repeat force closes. I went on my desktop and deleted all new emails from today (the problem started today). Then I went into the "manage applications" menu and "cleared data" on the email application. I then reset-up my email account and it appears to be fine for now.

I just wanted to share this on here in case someone else experiences this problem. I found the information at the following;

Thanks for the info! What header caused a problem? And any word on an upcoming fix?

Dust,

I find no information on plans to fix the email bug at this time. I sure hope they do because unfortunately I recieved a bunch of email yesterday and didn't have time to delete one at a time on my desktop and reset my Droid each time to weed out the suspect email. If it happens again I will try and find the cause and let everyone know. For now, I say if it happens to you; the day it happens delete the emails from that day and redo the email app on the Droid if you want it to function properly.
