PRODUCT: Motorola DROID Vehicle Mount

Hey, so today I went out and bought the Droid car dock from my local Verizon store. I am suprised with the quality. It has a very strong suction cup on it that latches very well to the windshield. Obviously it has knobs and everything so you can adjust it to what best suits you. Best of all, I have a huge stereo system that even can effect my rear view mirror's ability to hold still, and it had absolutely no effect at all on the dock. The phone automatically recognizes when it's connected and everything. The dock's a very good value, so if you were undecided on getting it, trust me, it's worth it.

Thanks for the info! Does it come with a charger. I wondered because I assume the dock keeps the phone on via magnets just like the multimedia dock.

yeah, it's inconvenient. However, it looks like Motorola is going to sell the car dock sometime soon and their version will contain a "Rapid Car Charger."

I already had a car charger when I got my Dare last year, so fortunately, I didn't have to buy one.

I purchased from the Verizon store, the same one as in the link. It just looks like Motorola is throwing in a car charger as an incentive to buy directly from them.
