I just got one of the EzeStands yesterday, and it is a GREAT little unit!  It has everything the big boys have, except the price tag.  Automaticly activates the Droid for nightstand use, and acepts the Droid in a case (something the other guys don't offer).
I am using the anodized aluminum 'Metal Case' (that I commented about in the Cases forum), and the aluminum case will not allow the Droid and the stand to connect.  This is no problem, as the Droid comes out of and goes back into this case very easy, or you can use the nighttatnd app to control it if you don't want to remove the phone from the case.  But, the phone, case and all, fits into this stand.
I live in NY, and it was shipped from CA and had it in 2 days.
Highly recommend this stand!  Thanks for turning me on to it!!

I might have to get one of these for work, even though I have the official multimedia stand for home when charging at night.. Thanks for the find. :)

Check this on your phone. Menu - Settings - Applications - Development ... make sure Stay awake is checked. This should prevent the phone from timing out if it is being charged in a dock.

Hmmm not sure - sounds like a bug. Have you tried pulling the battery and restarting your phone?

problem is fixed.. Ended up going into the local Verizon store and their app's guru fixed the problem.. Seems there was an app I had in my phone that was causing the issue.. Guess I better be careful what I install into my phone from now on..

(http://vpnavy01.ipower.com/lgdare/old_man.gif) If you can - call Verizon back and see if they remember what the "other" appliation was...other's will no doubt have the same problem.

well for one he told me never to install a flashlight app.. said it will most likely burn out the camera flash... Also..he added Advanced Task Killer.. It seems that there was too many background apps running and everything was working against each other and not allowing the phone to work properly.. Anyone out there not using Advanced Task Killer needs to download it and see how much of a difference it makes not having all those apps running.. Everything works faster.
