Dust,

Thanks for the review. Like snsmom I too bought one but have not installed it yet. It says you need something like 12 hours for it to dry and I haven't been able to find 12 hours where I know I will not need my phone. Hopefully I can find the time sometime sooner than later.

What I did was install it in the lat afternoon and keep the phone in standby, barely texting, and the screen goes off during phone calls anyway. Then right before bed, I made sure that the brief periods the screen was on didn't generate some air bubbles, if they did, then i pushed out what was created real quick, put the phone in standby, and went to bed. Woke up in the morning with well over 12 hours total passed.

There in lies my problem Dust. I work 3rd shift and have 4 little boys, so I generally get 5 hours sleep time at most! I do have some time off coming up, so perhaps I can find a night where I will be able to do it. I considered getting the holster/snap on combo (a piece snaps on the back of the phone and then it slides into the holster) but then it would not fit in my multimedia dock!

Ah I see, very busy. Well sooner or later, you'll get a chance to apply it, let me know what you think of it! Cheesy
I applaud your ability to manage a very busy schedule, and enjoy your upcoming time off!

Has anyone tried these? They look awesome as the entire front of your phone looks like a mirror while the screen is black. When the screen is activated the screen shows through. My cousin has one of these on his iphone and it was awesome. So I seen that they are available on the droid.

although they are nice, it became quite annoying after awhile having to tilt screen in the perfect position to not catch the mirror glare. i personally prefer zagg invisible sheild but chose not to apply it to my droid since the screen is scratch proof.

When I got my Droid I bought the Invisible Shield for it as well.. I installed it that day and my touch screen went nuts.. I wouldn't work when I would touch the screen.. The grey tab at the bottom of the phone started opening on its own or would get stuck half way up and jump really fast.. I ripped the protector off and it worked just fine again.. I went to the Verizon store and got there 3 pack of protectors.. Installed one and it works great..

That's kind of odd. I haven't had a single problem with my invisible shield.

has anyone purchased the zagg custom 'skin' yet for the droid??

i really want to use a custom JPG for the back zagg cover, seems like a sweet idea, however, the 'no spray' option makes me worried that it wont protect the device as the normal clear zagg shield does.

I have been debating on whether to take off my screen protection... Now that the droid has been out for a few months has anyone not been using screen protection?  If so, have you seen noticeable scratches?

When I got my Droid in mid December I bought the Verizon protectors.  Never liked it and just removed it after two weeks.  I have been using it since then sans any type of screen protector.  It's always in and out of my pocket.  The screen is always rubbed on the rivets on my jeans and still not a scratch.   Not one.

IMHO save your money and don't dull the appearance of your screen with that crap.  The screen is meant to be used.  It can handle it.

Has anyone heard of Skinomi screen protectors? Or has anyone used them or had experience with them. TIA.
