Battery Life / Number on Top of Phone / Organize Contacts and More!

What you need to do is read the manual first. You sound overwhelmed. The battery on the upper right hand corner gives a poor visual. If you go into your settings and click on "about phone" you can go to "Status" to see how much battery life you have. You can also download  a free battery widget to put on your screen that will show what percentage of battery you have left.

The 6 on the top of the screen probably is the number of messages you have. The only way to find out is to put your finger at the top of the screen and drag down the notification bar. This will show you all of your notifications.

You can also put your phone icon on your screen so all you have to do is click it to open up the phone.

Sounds like you need to either go back what you are used to or relax and take the time to learn the new device. Good luck.

This is the BEST phone i ever used and had!! Please give it a chance! I sinned and have wanted an i-phone lol but now that is just a distant memory lol. My step-mom has one and it is cool but this thing is a powerhouse and completely open and has true potential.
