Running Ultimate Droid 10.0 1ghz overclocked

Hey, I figured this would be a good topic of conversation.

So a few minutes ago, I stood up from my computer and bumped the USB power cord connected to my Droid, and unfortunately, it took its first fall to the nice soft carpet below. It got me thinking, "how durable is the Droid to being dropped?"

So I figured I would post this to see what experiances you all have had in accidentally dropping your Droid.

I did a searched on the net on dropped Droids and found something very very interesting...

A Droid Owner said:  I called my State Farm agent and for $36 a year got a no deductible rider put on my insurance policy.  I never gave that a thought!   Has anyone else?

I don't have the insurance. I can usually talk my way into getting another Droid if I need one. Wink

But those pictures, dizam. You would have to seriously get a sledgehammer..

I didn't know that you could do that. I will definately be looking into that.
Would rather go through my own insurance than jump through the hoops that Asurion makes you jump through!

So, yesteday after working a 16 hr shift at night, my buddy and I decided to releived some bordom before we left. He activate the lightsaber, and I activated ifight sword...... on my first swing I threw my phone 20 ft to the other side of the room and it dropped about 6 ft straight down onto hard tile.......not a scratch on her. And my iphone buddies got jealous, they have cracked screens from way lesser falls.
